Free Pattern Friday: Fletcher Quilt by Shiny Happy World

Free Pattern Friday: Fletcher Quilt by Shiny Happy World

This quilt has a special place in my heart.

Back in 2013 I was pregnant with baby #4. I was sewing more than I ever had before and even helping a local quilt shop with their blog. I found this free pattern and decided to make it for my baby boy.

I tried to choose fabrics that would grow with him, opting for a charcoal chambray as the main print and then red, gray, and black prints to offset that. It has a modern vibe, especially with the straight line quilting which I love!

I made it a little large for a baby quilt so it is more like a large lap size and backed it in a soft black minky. Sweet Cyrus still sleeps with it today and at 10 years old is starting to outgrow it! Time for a new quilt!

The pattern gives five different size options so you are sure to find the perfect size for your project!

This is a fun versatile pattern, great for a beginner and great for using up larger scraps.
