Free Pattern Friday: Calling all Cowgirls

We recent took a road trip up through Idaho, Montana and into Canada where there is a whole lot of ranching and open space! I loved the rolling hills and beautiful landscape. 

This adorable free quilt pattern from Riley Blake Designs is perfect for anyone who loves those wide open spaces, preferrably sitting on the back of a horse with some boots on their feet. 

This kit is mocked up using a new Riley Blake line called Wild Rose. The florals and tones of it give the quilt more of a feminine feel but you could definitely switch out fabrics for a manly version for the cowboy in your life. 

With a finished size of 47" x 50" this is the perfect throw size quilt for the end of a bed or snuggling on the couch.
